OUR BEGINNING

Growing the best Californian Peaches, Nectarines and Plums.

Located in Reedley, CA, in the heart of the California San Joaquin Valley, Brandt Farms a distributer, packing shed and grower of Peaches, Plums, Nectarine, and Grapes. Jack Brandt Sr. started the business by growing and packing his Nectar variety peaches and hauling them to the San Francisco market. The business grew when the neighbors asked him to handle their fruit as well. Brandt Farms has over 77 years and three generations of experience in growing, packing, and marketing the best California Peaches, Nectarines, and Plums.

OUR GROWERS

It takes partnership to get the best fruit to the consumer.

Throughout the Central Valley our growers, grow a variety of peaches, plums, nectarines, grapes, persimmons, oranges, and kiwis. We pack, store, and ship these products across the world. Our packing shed, cold storage, and shipping office are attached to the sales office, allowing each department to work together. A few years ago, we added a second packing plant to accommodate the expanding agricultural industry of the Central Valley.

GROWING THE PERFECT PEACH

Peach-Compressed..jpg

The perfect time for harvest comes at a moment's notice.

Live Life Ripe means to live life to the fullest. For our fruit that means harvesting fruit at the perfect ripeness with peak flavor. Exceptional fruit happens at a moment’s notice, which requires constant personal evaluation and care.

The perfect peach is only ripe on the tree for a 24-hour window. Harvested too early and flavor potential is not realized, too late and the fruit will not make it through the supply chain. By harvesting each field 6-8 times we capture that 24-hour window perfectly every day. Schedules and organizational charts cannot grow quality fruit. It takes growers committed to walking the fields every day to determine when our fruit has reached it’s fullest potential. Only then do we handpick perfect fruit.
